Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Field Service Technician III in the Los Angeles and Southern California region to install, calibrate, repair, and inspect Rees monitoring equipment in regulated environments.

You will verify credentials of lower level technicians, provide updates to customers, and support annual preventive maintenance campaigns. Ideal candidates have 5+ years calibration experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical docs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or associate degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of calibration experience and / or equivalent education.
• Proven experience working with electrical, mechanical, or computer networking equipment.
• Proficiency in interpreting schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with a wide range of test meters and diagnostic tools used in electronics, equipment maintenance, and calibrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of interacting professionally with customers.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks to meet service deadlines.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and safely operating or climbing OSHA-compliant equipment.
• Consistently maintains a professional appearance and adheres to high standards of personal hygiene.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the capability to operate a company or personal vehicle are required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and inventory.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead installations and maintenance with adherence to industry standards.
• Act as subject matter expert in calibration methodologies.
• Verify setup and configuration of Rees monitoring equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues identified during calibrations.
• Perform repairs on electronic and mechanical components of Rees systems.
• Calibrate and inspect equipment for accurate readings and regulatory compliance.
• Review job plans before installations and submit status updates as required.
• Record data to support IOQ protocols.
• Use test meters and diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions and calibrate accurately.
• Maintain organized inventory of parts and supplies for on-site service.
• Communicate with customers to provide project updates and address inquiries.
• Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve complex challenges.
• Travel to customer facilities within the region to fulfill duties.
