Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to perform on-site and shop maintenance of Canon equipment in the Carmel, IN area. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and accurate reporting as part of daily field duties.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, can travel, and are able to lift 50 lb; intro period and PDIF training are required. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and transportation allowance.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role; must meet customer policies and COVID-19 measures.
• Ability to travel with valid driver's license and acceptable record.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field maintenance.
• Maintain technical information, Field Service Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines.
• Help achieve branch/district metric targets.
