Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. seeks a Service Technician I to perform basic maintenance on gas compression packages under supervision. You will learn from senior technicians while assisting with servicing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of gas-fired and electric-driven compressor packages.

The role aims to develop proficiency for progression to Technician II. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years' experience, CAT Gas I/II and Electrical certs, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years applicable experience.
• Must have CAT Gas I/II and Electrical certifications.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company professionally and provides outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports, and timesheets daily.
• Assist in diagnosing engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in timely rebuilds/overhauls of compressors and engines in the field.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and start‑up inspections.
• Possess strong mechanical and electrical abilities and read P&ID's.
