Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service Joliet and the Central Illinois region. You'll diagnose, repair, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on coin and currency equipment, ATMs, software and office devices at client sites in Joliet, collaborating with branch sales and other service teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in technical or field service roles, strong electromechanical aptitude, excellent communication, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical/field service or similar role
• Impeccable integrity
• Ability to access highly secured environments; licenses may be required
• Strong electromechanical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first attitude
• Personable and able to work with others at all levels
• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office and Windows OS
• Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines
• Hourly wage $25.00–$26.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment
• Travel by vehicle to client sites (90% daily, 10% overnight as needed)
• Work with branch employees to satisfy client needs
• Address customer service requests within contract response time
• Extended hours coverage and on-call duty where applicable
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and keep vehicle clean
• Safeguard company assets including tablets and mobile phones
• All other duties as required
