Job summary

Strategic Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Reno, NV. This 3-month contract-to-hire role performs maintenance, analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of desktops, laptops, servers, and printers at client sites.

Local travel and on-site support are required, with shifts Monday–Friday 9am–6pm and on-call responsibilities. Ideal candidates have basic hardware/network knowledge, strong administrative and organizational skills, and should obtain an A+ certification within 6 months of

Job Description

This is a Tech 1 90-day contract-to-hire position – candidates should be pre-screened to confirm that they fit the requirements listed below.

• Is this position remote or in person? Field
• What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person?
• Technician will travel to each client’s location to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.
• Works under general supervision.
• Must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s).
• Local travel required for daily dispatch.
• Candidate must have valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and pass drug test & background check.
• What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Must have basic knowledge of printer, laptop, desktop, server, and network. Must have good admin and organizational skills.
• What will the work schedule be for this position? M-F 9am to 6pm with a 1 hr lunch
