Job summary

TeamSoft, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician in Las Vegas, NV to provide on-site maintenance and customer support.

The contractor starts on a standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule, with possible shift rotations after training: Sunday–Wednesday (three 11‑hour shifts plus one 8‑hour shift) or Wednesday–Saturday (three 11‑hour shifts plus one 8‑hour shift). Candidates must travel as required, possess a valid driver’s license, pass security clearances, and be able to work in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to travel as required.
• Successful completion of 120-day introductory period and PDIF New Hire Training Class.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to management with appropriate documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance support.
• Maintain accurate technical records, Field Service Reports (FSRs), expense reports, and assigned company property.
• Deliver excellent customer communication and support.
• Maintain assigned equipment performance standards.
• Support branch and district performance goals by achieving established service metrics.

Job description

Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Duration: Long term contract
Pay Rate Range: $18 to $22/hr

Position Overview

The contractor will initially work the standard schedule of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. After completing required training, the contractor may be assigned to one of the following shifts based on business and team needs:

Available Shift Rotations

Sunday – Wednesday

• Three 11-hour shifts
• One 8-hour shift
• Front Half Days and Nights

Wednesday – Saturday

• Three 11-hour shifts
• One 8-hour shift
• Back Half Days and Nights

Note: These rotations include both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to management with appropriate documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance support.
• Maintain accurate technical records, Field Service Reports (FSRs), expense reports, and assigned company property.
• Deliver excellent customer communication and support.
• Maintain assigned equipment performance standards.
• Support branch and district performance goals by achieving established service metrics.

Additional Requirements & Expectations

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of internet environments required.
• Successful completion of:
  • 120-day introductory period.
  • PDIF New Hire Training Class.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Must complete required security clearances and customer access requirements.
• Must be able to work in a 24x7 operational environment (PPS Only).
• Must be available for:
  • Shift work.
  • On-call rotations.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires mobile activity more than 50% of the time, including:
  • Walking.
  • Standing.
  • Stooping.
  • Kneeling.
  • Bending.
  • Handling equipment.
