Job summary

F6 Data Solutions in Indiana is seeking hands-on Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform startup tests on CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU equipment, and coordinate with senior technicians while traveling up to 100% as required.

A strong focus on safety and precise documentation is essential.

Qualifications

3–7 years of HVAC, mechanical or industrial equipment experience.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
Experience with hydronic systems preferred.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

Support startup, commissioning and troubleshooting of cooling systems in hyperscale data centers.
Perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision while supporting senior technicians.
Assist with startup and commissioning for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU systems.
Verify equipment installation and piping connections.
Identify system performance issues.
Maintain documentation: startup checklists, inspection reports, field notes, and end-of-day reports.
Communicate effectively using Microsoft Teams.
