Job summary

LG Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) for the Everett, WA area. This role involves traveling to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair LG appliances, TVs, and A/C units, while maintaining safety and high service standards.

You will manage parts and paperwork, pre-screen next-day service calls, and strive to meet metrics including customer satisfaction and first-time fix rates. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this field-based role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred).
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
• Experience in the use of tools, and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues.
• Must be able to obtain EPA Certification.
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing.
• Meet physical requirements up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment to ensure top product performance.
• Proper use of safety equipment (PPE), vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by LG.
• Conducts technical diagnosis and performs specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances.
• Diagnose problems, assess extent, document findings, decide on repair or replacement parts.
• Process paperwork and data entry after each job.
• Pre-screen next day service calls with required information.
• Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, OT %).
