Job summary

GLORY in Bowie, MD is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair high-speed cash-handling equipment at customer sites. You will be the face of GLORY, troubleshoot hardware and software, install upgrades, and manage parts and tools.

The role requires collaboration with customers, adherence to safety guidelines, and willingness to travel within the territory. Work hours typically Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm, with occasional on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Certificates in related fields, i.e. mechanics, electronics, automation, data processing preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to read electric schematics, logic diagrams, mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system problems and perform repairs.
• Keep customers informed of progress during maintenance or a down system situation.
• Complete machine installations, Engineering Change Notices that affect system upgrades, and Hardware/Software upgrades that may require technical assistance.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and policies, complete EH&S training.
