Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a National Field Service Technician to support heavy mining equipment builds and on-site field service across the West, Southwest, and other U.S. locations.

You will assemble rope shovels and electric drive truck assemblies on site and perform maintenance, welding, and machining in demanding field environments. The role requires extensive travel (up to six weeks on the road, 13–14 hour days) and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling heavy mining equipment on site.
• Welding experience with FCAW and AWS welding certification.
• Ability to travel on-site for extended periods (6 weeks or more).
• Rigging training and safety certifications are preferred.
