Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a National Field Service Technician to assemble heavy mining equipment on-site, including rope shovels and electric drive truck assemblies. You will perform field maintenance, welding, and machining across the West and Southwest in demanding industrial environments.

Travel throughout the U.S. (Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, California) with long shifts; AWS D1.1 certification and FCAW welding test are required, MSHA certification preferred, and rigging training is expected

Qualifications

• Willing to be on the road 6 weeks at a time, 13-14 hour days.
• Certification in AWS D1.1 with FCAW welding test completed.
• MSHA training certification preferred.
• Rigging training completed for lifting and rigging safely.
