Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a National Field Service Technician to assemble and maintain heavy mining equipment on-site across the West and Southwest, including rope shovels and electric drive truck assemblies. You will travel extensively, perform welding and machining tasks, and support customers in demanding field environments.

The role requires significant travel (6 weeks at a time), AWS D1.1 certification with FCAW testing, and preference for MSHA training and rigging skills.

Qualifications

• Willing to be on the road for 6 weeks at a time, 13–14 hour days.
• AWS D1.1 certification with FCAW welding test completed.
• MSHA training certification preferred.
• Rigging training completed.
