Job summary

Komatsu seeks a National Field Service Technician to assemble and repair heavy mining equipment on-site across the West and Southwest and beyond. The role requires welding, field maintenance, and travel to sites in states like Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and California.

The candidate should have strong mechanical experience in heavy industrial settings, welding expertise (5G preferred), and be prepared for long on-the-road assignments with 13–14 hour days.

Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 certification with FCAW welding test.
• On-the-road availability; able to travel extensively across the US.
• Preference for MSHA training in safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Field mechanical maintenance and repairs on mining equipment.
• Perform on-site welding in the field with safety and quality in mind.
• Travel throughout the US to provide on-site support and service.
