Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a National Field Service Technician to assemble, maintain, repair, and weld heavy mining equipment on-site across the West and Southwest regions. You will travel frequently to customer locations, perform field machining, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while operating heavy machinery in demanding environments.

The role requires hands-on mechanical experience in mining or heavy industry, welding expertise (AWS D1.1 preferred), and the ability to be on the road

Qualifications

• Welding experience required; AWS D1.1 certification preferred.
• Experience with field maintenance of heavy mining equipment.
• Experience with field machining and on-site repairs.

Responsibilities

• Field mechanical maintenance and welding on-site.
• Travel across the US to support customers.
• Operate and assist in field machining and repairs.
• Perform welding and assembly tasks in remote field sites.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all tasks.
