Job summary

HIAB USA, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on equipment at external or Hiab locations in line with managerial instructions.

You will build productive customer relationships and adhere to Hiab Best Practices in all activities. The role requires 100% travel across Oklahoma and surrounding areas, with a focus on customer satisfaction and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 1-year DOT Medical Card required
• Valid Driver’s License required; no more than one moving violation in the last year, or two within two years
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Own tools required
• 100% travel required

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot equipment (Forklifts, Knuckle Boom Cranes, Loaders, Liftgates, Hooklifts, Skiploaders & Hoists) per Manager’s instructions
• Follow safety rules, practices and environmental requirements
• Stay up to date with technical developments and complete courses when instructed
• Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction and follow Hiab guidelines
• Keep records and submit daily reports as required
• Recognize sales opportunities and communicate them to District Service Manager
• Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as needed
• Maintain professional image of Hiab brand and follow Quality System
