Job summary

Hiab USA offers a field service role focused on preventive maintenance, safety checks and refurbishments of material handling equipment. Travel is 100% to external Hiab locations and customer sites, with emphasis on reliability and customer satisfaction.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong diagnostic/troubleshooting abilities. Benefits include comprehensive coverage, 401k with match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Required diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• DOT Medical Card is required.
• No more than one moving violation in the last year, or two within two years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, liftgates, Hooklifts, Skiploaders & Hoists.
• Follow safety rules and environmental requirements.
• Stay up to date with internal service bulletins and complete courses when instructed.
• Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction.
• Maintain records and submit daily reports as required.
• Identify sales opportunities and report to District Service Manager.
• Coach junior colleagues when needed.
• Promote Hiab brand and follow Quality System rules.
