HIAB USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and upgrades on equipment in Bakersfield, CA, with work conducted in surrounding areas. The role requires travel to customer sites and Hiab locations, following manager’s instructions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience, strong diagnostic skills, and owns their own tools. A valid driver's license and a 1-year DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations.
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Own tools required.
• 100% travel is required.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, service, and troubleshoot equipment (Forklifts, Knuckle Boom Cranes, Loaders, Liftgates, Hooklifts, Skiploaders & Hoists) per Manager’s instructions.
• Follow safety rules and environmental requirements.
• Stay up to date with internal service bulletins and complete technical courses when instructed.
• Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction.
• Maintain records and submit daily reports as directed.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate to District Service Manager.
• Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary.
• Promote Hiab brand and follow Quality System.
