Job summary

Smart Start, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to support Field Operations by installing, servicing, and troubleshooting alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronics. The role blends hands-on technical work with strong customer service in a fast-paced field setting.

You will train customers, perform calibration updates, and handle log data while maintaining quality and compliance. This position emphasizes safety, neat work areas, and effective communication to ensure customer satisfaction and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as applicable.
Valid driver’s license may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Conduct customer training sessions and provide phone support to ensure satisfaction.
Make daily or weekly reminder calls to customers with upcoming appointments.
Perform monthly inventory audits and assist nearby facilities as needed.
Manage weekly work hours and communicate effectively with management.
Uphold confidentiality, data security, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned, including vehicle-to-vehicle transfers.
