Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience in forklift or equipment repair.
• Knowledge of electrical and industrial battery charger repair is a plus.
• Effective communication with customers, co-workers and management.
• Ability to understand service manuals and schematics.
• Able to safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Promote goodwill and accountability between the company and the customer.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment problems and breakdowns; recommend repair actions.
• Make appropriate equipment repairs or modifications.
• Efficiently perform scheduled equipment maintenance.
• Document each service call and repair with required paperwork.
• Maintain service van and inventory and keep area clean and hazard free.
• Cooperate with management on additional duties as assigned.
