Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic forklift/equipment repair.
• Ability to read service manuals and schematics.
• Effective communication with customers and coworkers.
• Safe operation of power tools, lifts, hoists, jacks and cranes.
• Knowledge of electrical and industrial battery charger repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote goodwill and accountability between the company and the customer; provide a superior level of customer service.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment problems and breakdowns; recommend service and repair actions.
• Make appropriate equipment repairs or modifications.
• Efficiently perform scheduled equipment maintenance.
• Accurately and neatly document each service call and repair, providing the necessary paperwork.
• Maintain service van and all company equipment.
• Provide well maintained personal tools required to perform duties.
• Keep the work area clean and hazard free.
• Cooperatively perform additional duties when assigned by management.
