Job summary

Tri-Lift Industries, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair forklift equipment at customer sites in NC, SC, and VA. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and parts coordination using your own tools and company vehicle when assigned.

Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills are essential, along with reliable communication with customers and team members. The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic forklift or equipment repair.
• Knowledge of Electrical and Industrial Battery Charger repair is a plus.
• Ability to read service manuals and schematics.
• Effective communication with customers, coworkers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Promote goodwill and accountability between the company and the customer.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment problems and recommend repair actions.
• Make repairs or modifications to equipment.
• Perform scheduled equipment maintenance.
• Document service calls and repairs accurately and neatly.
• Maintain service van, inventory, and tools.
• Keep work area clean and hazard-free.
• Cooperate on additional duties as assigned by management.
