Job summary

Tri-Lift Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified service technician to diagnose and repair material handling equipment in our North Carolina region.

You will perform repairs, maintenance, and service calls with a focus on accuracy and safety. The position requires a minimum of three years of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience in forklift or equipment repair, along with good communication skills and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with three or more years of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience in forklift or equipment repair.
• Knowledge of Electrical and Industrial Battery Charger repair is a plus.
• Ability to read service and training manuals and schematics.
• Effective communication with customers, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Promote goodwill and accountability between the company and customer and provide superior service.
• Expertly analyze and diagnose equipment problems and recommend correct service actions.
• Perform equipment repairs or modifications and scheduled maintenance.
• Document service calls and repair work accurately.
• Maintain company equipment, service van, and inventory.
• Keep work area clean and hazard-free.
