Job summary

Tri-Lift Industries, Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a skilled forklift/equipment technician. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and related equipment, with emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, and battery systems. A valid driver's license and a pre-employment drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Required high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in forklift/equipment repair.
• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems; read manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication with customers, co-workers and management.
• Able to operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Promote goodwill and accountability between company and customer.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment problems; recommend service actions.
• Perform repairs or modifications on equipment.
• Carry out scheduled equipment maintenance.
• Document service calls and repairs accurately.
• Maintain service van, tools, and inventory.
• Keep work area clean and hazard free.
• Cooperate with management and rental coordinator.
