Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of telecom products and equipment. You will directly interact with customers and proactively promote TDS services and products, including Telephony, Internet, Video/CATV, and more.

The role requires field presence within 60 minutes of Spokane, WA/Post Falls, ID, and includes opportunities to upsell solutions while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain it.
• Available for on-call/standby and occasional travel.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, test, and maintain telephone and network equipment at customer sites.
• Identify defective cables and perform fault tests; locate and mark facilities.
• Provide troubleshooting support and respond to trouble dispatches.
• Educate customers about TDS products and services and seek sales opportunities.
