TDS Telecom is seeking a Field Service Technician to support on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecommunications products and services. The role involves direct customer contact, sales opportunities, and adherence to safety and DOT requirements.

Training is provided, with a demanding schedule and on-call responsibilities. The position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel within a 60-minute radius of Spokane, WA, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be available for on-call/standby responsibilities and may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site installing, troubleshooting, testing, splicing, repairing, and maintaining telephone and network equipment.
• Respond to trouble dispatches and provide troubleshooting support.
• Maintain records and cross-connects, line groups, and network elements.
• Proactively educate and sell TDS products and services to customers.
• Learn RUS standards and grounding practices for outside plant facilities.
