Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance for telecommunications products. You will interact directly with customers, identify needs, and present TDS services and solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or on-site installations preferred.
• Strong customer-facing communication and sales ability.
• Ability to troubleshoot telecommunications equipment and networks.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, test, splice, repair and maintain telecom equipment at customer sites.
• Respond to trouble dispatches and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain/assist with records for network elements and related systems.
• Educate customers on TDS products and services to generate sales opportunities.
• Understand grounding practices and outside plant maintenance procedures.
