Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an entry-level field technician to support the operation of compressor packages and related equipment. You will participate in one or more compression jobs, perform basic diagnostics, and help ensure high mechanical availability while following Kodiak’s procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of gas processes, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred SSE program completion.
• Knowledge of gas processes and compressor mechanics.
• 1 year compression process experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running one or more compression jobs and operate equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and improve on-the-job skills through training.
• Attend and follow HSE protocols and meetings.
• Analyze parts and inventory to communicate needs to Supply Chain.
• Maintain customer relationships and equipment availability.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations.
• Complete required reports per area procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
