Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Technical Service Representative in Mesa, Arizona to support electric rope shovel systems, perform real-time data analysis from monitoring devices, and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes electrical theory knowledge, root-cause analysis, safe teamwork, effective communication, and reporting on machine condition, repairs, and maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable in Electrical Theory and in the Electrical Field.
• Must be able to safely work in a Team Environment for the betterment of Komatsu Mining.
• Must be prepared to perform Root Cause Analysis on failures and effectively draft reports for customers, internal personnel and Product Support.
• Must have great communication skills in person, on the phone and on a computer.

Responsibilities

• Must be proficient at using Computers. Must be able to connect monitoring devices to analyze signals and interpret data that we will be gathering at any given time.
• Electric rope shovel troubleshooting, inspection and audit teams. Accurately report machine condition, repair/maintenance recommendations, time to repair/service.
• Assist electricians with installations and wiring of electric rope shovels.
• Effectively communicate to Customer Supervisors, Managers, Internal Employees, Engineering and Product Support on any customers needs.
