Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a National Field Service Technician to assemble and service heavy mining equipment on-site across the West and Southwest, including Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico. This role requires extensive travel and hands-on mechanical work.

You will perform field maintenance, welding, and machining at customer locations, ensuring safety and quality while traveling up to six weeks at a time with long shifts. AWS D1.1 certification and rigging training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience with heavy equipment.
• Welding skills emphasized; 5G welding experience preferred.
• Comfort with extensive travel and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Field mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Field welding in diverse environments.
• Travel throughout the US to support customers on-site.
