Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and break-fix maintenance on UPS, power distribution units, and battery systems within the Edge market segment, including retail, financial, and municipal customers. You will establish rapport with customers, co-workers, and sales teams while adhering to safety policies and company guidelines.

The role requires travel and flexible schedules; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or technical maintenance is preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities are essential.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, power distribution units, and battery systems.
• Provide on-site and remote support to customers and communicate with Technical Support as needed.
• Maintain safety, administer tasks, and ensure proper documentation and customer satisfaction.
