Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, Power Distribution Units and Battery systems across edge market segments. You will build rapport with customers, coworkers, and sales reps while delivering on-site repairs and preventative maintenance.

Travel required; flexible schedule; valid driver's license; strict safety compliance; on-the-job training and ongoing certification support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical/electronic test equipment.
• High School or Vocational Diploma.
• 1-3 years field service or related technical experience.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies and procedures.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips.
