Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and break-fix service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units and Battery systems (2-120KVA). The role requires establishing rapport with customers and internal teams, supporting the Edge market segment including retail and municipal clients.

Responsibilities include on-site service tasks, coordinating with Technical Support, and adhering to safety and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational School Diploma
• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips
