Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and break-fix service on UPS, power distribution, and battery systems. The role emphasizes customer rapport, on-site problem solving, and adherence to safety and company procedures.

You will support Vertiv’s Edge market segment, requiring travel and flexible hours while maintaining equipment and documentation accuracy. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and professional communication across customer sites and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and professional interaction with customers and colleagues.
• Strong time management to balance technical tasks with admin work.
• Ability to collaborate across peers, customers, suppliers and leadership.
• Experience completing administrative tasks (time cards, reports) accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Maintain safety bulletins and notices.
