Job summary

Strong Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site and remote support for cinema projection, digital signage, and audio systems. You will install, maintain, survey sites, and respond to service requests with a focus on quality and reliability.

You will travel extensively (70-80%), handle weekends/on-call duties, and work in a fast-paced, agile environment using cutting-edge technologies to support a nationwide customer network.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical training.
• Experience with electronics related to the Pro-Av market.
• Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture.
• Experience with digital cinema equipment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on cinema projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, servers, and power supplies.
• Provides demand service for customers; determines and executes a support plan.
• Tests electronic assembly, components or parts with equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Repairs equipment and performs field testing; resolves firmware and software issues.
• Directs investigation of customer complaints regarding quality and specifications.
• Records activities and reports status to production and sales teams.
• Installs electronic or digital equipment and tests.
• Travels up to 70-80% in-market; may work weekends, holidays and be on-call.
