Job summary

Strong Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support digital cinema equipment, projection systems, and associated technologies at customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, installations, site surveys, and on-call support in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have electronics experience in Pro-Av markets, solid networking understanding, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 70-80% and weekend/on-call work are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with electronics related to the Pro-Av market.
• Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture.
• Experience with digital cinema equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on cinema projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, servers, and power supplies.
• Provides demand service for customers; determines and executes a support plan.
• Tests electronic assemblies and components using test equipment.
• Repairs equipment and performs field testing; resolves firmware and software issues.
• Directs investigation of customer complaints regarding quality and specifications.
• Records and reports production quality status and disposition of complaints.
