Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site field repair at customer facilities, primarily in a datacenter environment. You will diagnose issues, work with servers and networking gear, and ensure quick, professional issue resolution.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in hardware repair, strong customer communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 15 days per year. A HS diploma or higher is preferred; engineering degrees are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hardware repair or debugging experience.
• Hands-on servers and networking equipment experience preferred.
• Customer interaction and conflict resolution experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Datacenter at customer sites providing on-premise field repair.
• Diagnose root causes by engaging with customers and researching issues.
• Perform hands-on servicing of servers and networking gear.
• Escalate unresolved problems and support rapid fixes.
• Contribute to training materials and fault triage data.
• Attend required trainings and certifications.
