Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an ASCO Systems Field Service Technician to service critical data center equipment nationwide from a home-based position in the U.S. You will perform ATS maintenance, startup, diagnostics, and parts replacement while documenting every site with detailed reports.

You'll receive comprehensive product training, company vehicles and devices, and a dedicated mentor during onboarding. This role offers a flexible, 40-hour baseline with overtime and extensive Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Vocational education, military training, or transferable experience in electronics, electrical theory or similar discipline.
• 5-7+ years of relevant mechanical, electrical and/or Emergency Power service experience.
• Experience in writing reports and presenting information to managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
• Service administration and reporting including service orders and inventory review.
• Install, maintain and repair on customer installed base.
• Perform warranty work and startup service.
• Startup/Commissioning on equipment across Schneider Electric products.
• Testing, calibration, and replacement of components as needed.
• Document site information and provide technical reports.
• Travel for training and to support job sites as required.
