Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Maintenance and Service Technician to join our Customer Engineering Team. The role covers maintenance of cryogenic, high‑pressure, and generated gas systems at customer sites across a 250‑mile radius around Bel Air, MD or Washington DC.

The position requires 24/7 availability and travel including overnight stays. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (technical degree preferred) and may have welding or brazing experience.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree preferred but not required.
• Welding or brazing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cryogenic, high‑pressure, and generated gas systems at customer sites within the assigned region.
• Occasionally supervise contractors and crane operations.
• Participate in after‑hours and weekend call‑outs; maintain 24/7 availability.
• Utilize company‑provided truck, gas card, laptop, uniforms and tools.
• Travel includes overnight stays; more training during initial months.
• Overnight stays may be required to support customers outside normal territory.
