Job summary

Air Products in Baton Rouge is seeking a Maintenance and Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain cryogenic liquid and industrial gas delivery systems across a 200-mile radius. You will travel daily to customer sites as a residence-based role, with a company truck, gas card, and tools provided.

Safety and reliability are core to this position, requiring hands-on technical skills and strong troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade/technical degree preferred.
• Brazing experience preferred but not required.
• Safety-focused; ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Willingness to travel: overnight 25–30%, daily travel 100%.
• Experience with cryogenic and gas delivery systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain cryogenic liquid and gas supply and delivery systems (nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, helium).
• Be the primary interface between Air Products and customers; communicate with field, management, sales and engineering.
• Develop work scopes for equipment repair and overhaul.
• Promote safety rules and environmental compliance.
