Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Maintenance and Service Technician in the Greater Baton Rouge area. The role is residence-based with travel to customer sites within a 200‑mile radius, using company-provided tools and vehicle.

You will install, repair, and maintain cryogenic gas systems, ensuring safety and reliability on site. The position requires strong troubleshooting, electrical, and mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/technical degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• Brazing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain cryogenic and gas delivery systems in the Greater Baton Rouge area.
• Serve as primary interface between Air Products and customers.
• Communicate between field and management, sales, and engineering.
• Develop work scopes for equipment repair and overhaul.
