Ford Office Technologies is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair multifunction copiers and office printing equipment at client sites across the United States. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure devices operate optimally in diverse environments.

The role emphasizes strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, basic networking knowledge, and clear communication with customers.

Qualifications

1–3+ years of experience servicing copiers or related office equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, print drivers, scanning setup).
Ability to read service manuals and schematics.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Proof of insurability.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various on-site environments.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

Diagnose, repair, and maintain digital copiers, printers, and multifunction devices (MFDs).
Install and network office equipment at customer sites.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues (network printing, scanning, drivers).
Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory.
Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
Train customers on proper equipment usage when needed.
Ensure timely response to service calls within assigned territory.
