Job summary

DEX Imaging is hiring a Field Service Technician to service copiers, printers, and related office technology. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment at customer sites, with a focus on quick response and customer satisfaction across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with major office equipment brands, strong troubleshooting skills, and reliable transportation. A valid driver's license and independence in managing service calls are essential for success

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience servicing copiers, printers, multifunction devices, or related office technology equipment is required.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing equipment in a field service environment.
• Familiarity with one or more major office technology manufacturers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage service calls and assigned territory.
• Basic computer and networking knowledge related to connected office equipment.
• Ability to read technical documentation, service manuals, and diagnostic information.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair copiers, printers, multifunction devices, and related office technology equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete assigned service calls.
• Install, configure, test, and support equipment at customer locations.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, connectivity, and print-quality issues.
• Provide professional customer service and technical support during onsite visits.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and repair documentation.
• Communicate repair status and equipment recommendations clearly.
• Manage assigned territory and service schedule efficiently.
• Work independently while partnering with service leadership and support teams.
• Maintain current knowledge of manufacturer equipment, service procedures, firmware, and technology.
