Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related equipment. The role involves on-site customer interaction, up‑to‑date diagnostic work, and collaboration with service coordinators for parts and scheduling.

The position includes on-call responsibilities after a 90‑day ramp and requires physical work, a valid driver's license, and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a mechanic's tool set; specialty tools will be provided.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record for 12 months minimum.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering parts and scheduling installations and repairs.
• Assist and train apprentices and other Field Service Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, in writing and verbally.
