Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) seeks a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain security systems at client sites across the Cincinnati area. The role requires reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and meeting guaranteed response times.

You will collaborate with Customer Service, manage inventory, and document work in our tracking system while adhering to installation standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Networking skills and 1-year experience programming access and video systems.
• Minimum factory/internal security system certifications.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Smartsheet; understanding of IP systems.
• Excellent customer service, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within assigned area and restore functionality.
• Properly install systems per Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Update tickets in service and project tracking system.
• Manage inventory and resources in possession.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance inspections per policy.
• Assist with other technical support issues as needed.
• Attend to duties assigned by Regional Manager or executive staff.
