Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC designs and manufactures commercial food equipment for food service and retail customers. The Service/Repair Technician 2 provides on-site installation, service, and preventative maintenance of Hobart Service equipment, including after-hours support.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED with electrical/mechanical experience, HVACR background with EPA certification, or a vocational HVACR certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus relevant mechanical/electrical experience or HVACR experience with EPA certification.
• HVACR vocational certificate accepted; associate degree preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking/refrigeration equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial food equipment on-site, including basic electrical/mechanical work.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment on contract or T&M basis.
• Interpret schematics and follow SOPs from manuals and safety programs.
• Maintain proper documentation and assets, including tools and vehicles.
