Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites. You will read schematics, discuss issues with managers, and work independently to keep kitchens running smoothly.

Overnight travel and on-call shifts are included as part of the role. qualified candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of technical experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related fields.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• EPA or CFESA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and food service equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose problems.
• Collaborate with restaurant/hospitality managers to understand equipment issues and propose repairs.
• Manage daily service schedule and work independently.
• Occasional overnight travel and on-call rotations, including nights/weekends.
