Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a field service technician to service commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and related systems at customer sites. You will read schematics, troubleshoot issues, and perform installations and repairs to meet customer needs.

Requirements include a High School diploma, 1 year of technical refrigeration or related experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness for on-call nights and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on‑call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.
• Preferred: EPA and CFESA certifications for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware‑washing, and other kitchen equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to read diagrams and schematics.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment including cooking, refrigeration, ware‑washing and other equipment.
• Communicate with manufacturers to assist with diagnoses and parts identification.
• Install ordered parts promptly and professionally per company policy.
• Produce accurate administrative documents such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory.
