Job summary

Tennant Company is seeking a Field Service professional to diagnose, repair, and maintain cleaning equipment at customer sites. You will manage daily service routes, communicate clearly with clients about timelines and service expectations, and ensure safety and quality in every visit.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, use of diagnostic tools, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver reliable, world-class service across multiple customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with Tennant driving policy.
• 0–2 years in troubleshooting/repair of mechanical or electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience using hand and power tools and diagnostic devices.
• Proficiency with PC and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and combustion engine problems on Tennant products or similar models.
• Own your territory by planning daily schedules and communicating with customers about service expectations, timelines, and billing.
• Create and maintain records of service activities and reporting documentation.
• Keep company vehicle, tools, parts, inventory, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, technical support, and other technicians to ensure success.
