Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and test coffee, juice, and dishwashing machines for a diverse customer base in the Fort Wayne area and nearby regions. You will support South Fort Wayne down to Dunkirk and over to Van Wert, Ohio, ensuring equipment performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2 years of service or repair experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (MVR will be run).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass drug screen, MVR and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and test coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for various customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor performance of equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, may require on-call weekend rotation.
• Occasionally handle overtime and travel within service territory.
