Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair coffee, juice, dishwashing, and chemical dispensing equipment for diverse customers across our region.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, and cultivate strong relationships with national accounts, healthcare, and hospitality clients. Requires 2 years of related experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in customer service or equipment repair.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to read manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers.
• Provide preventive maintenance and respond to emergencies.
• Build strong customer relationships and support a regional service territory from Fort Wayne to Angola, IN and Defiance, OH.

Field Service professional tasked with providing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and customer relations.

This person will support the region from northern Fort Wayne to Angola, IN, and south to Defiance, OH. The ideal candidate resides within the service territory and/or surrounding areas.

What you will do

As a Service Technician for InnoServ you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventive maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

When you will work

• Monday - Friday between the hours of 7AM - 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Opportunity for overtime available as needed and limited

What you'll bring to the table

• Experience: 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check - we do not check your credit score)
